ADVERT CONSTRUCTION
In order to create our magazine advert we needed to come up with a variation of choices for our font used for the artists name. We researched into it using a website called 'Dafont' in order to chose suitable fonts that would link with our genre that we are focusing on, indie pop. From doing this we come up with a range of fonts and done a audience survey to eliminate some that they wouldn't think would work or look right in amongst the rest of the text and images on the advert itself.
In addition to the font that we are going to use on the magazine advert we needed to consider the other media sites that we would incorporate to make it look realistic. We therefore come up with the 3 most popular online media sites that were commonly used by our target audience 16-20 year olds. These were; instagram, twitter and facebook.
The main image on the magazine advert in our eyes needed to be engaging and eye catching for the readers, therefore in order to do this we took a variety of pictures of the group altogether and experiemented with the editing of the photo on photoshop to see which would look best on the magazine.
